Starting July 5, Paris Plages dons the vibrant colors of Brazil. Sponsored by football legend Raí, the event features a large sandy beach, three beach sports courts, misting stations, deckchairs, and parasols along the riverbanks.
On the agenda: pétanque, foosball, giant games, and—for the first time in 100 years—swimming in the Seine! Brazilian-themed entertainment will set the pace for the summer, including batucadas, DJ sets, film screenings, photography exhibitions by João Farkas and Luiz Braga, and a tropical-flavored food market.
